Welcome to Chithirai College of Nursing was started in 2008. It is a non-minority educational institution run under EVE’s Socio-Economic and Educational Development Trust (Eve’s SEED Trust). It provides comprehensive health services and improves female education. The Trust is committed to excellence in teaching, research, leadership skills, and human values development. Chithirai College of Nursing is recognized by the Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi, and Tamilnadu Nurses and Midwives Council, Chennai, affiliated with The Tamilnadu Dr.MGR Medical University, Chennai.
Our college offers excellent academic exposure to students through various continuing nursing education programs, workshops, and field visits of eminent personalities. The college has all the physical facilities and efficient teaching faculties. The mission of the Chithirai College of Nursing is to prepare graduate nurses with scientific knowledge and skills to promote comprehensive care to the sick and well in the hospital and community through a problem solving process.
Our Philosophy
At Chithirai College of Nursing, we believe B.Sc Nursing is a foundational professional program that equips students for first-level positions in diverse healthcare settings. Our program integrates strong scientific knowledge in nursing and basic medical sciences, including anatomy, physiology, and microbiology.

Rules & Regulations
- Maintain self-discipline within college premises.
- Attend all classes regularly and on time.
- Late arrivals over 5 minutes will not get attendance
- Minimum 90% attendance is required to appear for University exams.
- Prior permission is mandatory for any absence.
